ALPEIN Software SWISS AG 2025 Year in Review

Stein am Rhein, December 2025 – ALPEIN Software SWISS AG looks back on a busy and productive year 2025.
In an environment marked by structural changes and economic challenges for many companies, ALPEIN Software focused on clear priorities in product development and market positioning.
The management of ALPEIN Software summarizes the year as follows:
“2025 was a year in which we laid the foundation for further growth – with a clear focus on the continued development of our password manager as well as new and exciting SAP integrations for large customers. At the same time, we responded to a more demanding market environment and changing decision-making processes, explored new approaches, selectively expanded partnerships, and consistently strengthened marketing and sales.”
PassSecurium™: Focus on security, features, and internationalization
The PassSecurium™ business password manager was consistently enhanced throughout 2025. A key milestone was the implementation of a Translation Management System (TMS) to systematically expand product localization. Among the next target languages defined were French, Italian, and Spanish. At the same time, existing PassSecurium™ Premium customers who had previously used a separate user management system were migrated to new Premium instances with integrated user management.
In the area of client applications, the PassSecurium Windows desktop app was completely rebuilt from a technical perspective. The new version is based on WebView2 and was released via the Microsoft Store (Windows App Store). In addition, deployment and rollout processes were further optimized to make installations and updates more efficient and stable. For PassSecurium™ customers, a peer-to-peer VPN (P2P VPN) was also introduced as an additional option for secure connections.
To support its growing partner network, ALPEIN Software also launched a PassSecurium™ partner portal in 2025. This allows partners to centrally, conveniently, and flexibly manage customer instances – an important foundation for scalable operating and service models.
The management of ALPEIN Software observes a clear trend:
“More and more larger companies are opting for password manager solutions. We welcome this development, as an increasing number of organizations recognize the importance and value of professional and secure password management and are overcoming implementation hurdles despite sometimes challenging internal conditions.”
JIRA2SAP™: Focus on exciting use cases and marketplace presence
JIRA2SAP™ also remained a central focus in 2025. However, many customers were primarily engaged in internal transformation projects, such as the introduction of SAP S/4HANA or the migration of Jira to the cloud, which resulted in some planned customer projects being postponed to the following year. Nevertheless, numerous Jira–SAP integrations were implemented in 2025, and new use cases were realized.
SAP-driven organizations continue to rely on Jira to streamline and optimize internal processes. Atlassian is now increasingly focusing on large enterprises, which means that Atlassian partners without SAP expertise are turning to companies such as ALPEIN Software, which already offer a proven Jira–SAP integration solution. This development led to the establishment of several new partnerships with Atlassian partners.
Marketplace presence was further expanded as well: both the Atlassian Marketplace and the SAP Store were updated, and additional SAP templates were published, further improving discoverability and access for interested customers.
Continuous strengthening of product and internal security
Alongside product development, ALPEIN Software continued to place strong emphasis on IT and data security throughout the year – both within its solutions and in internal processes. The company published best practices, expanded support and partner programs, and emphasized the close connection between product engineering and security consulting. This underscores the strategic focus on security-first solutions for SME and enterprise customers.
Active communication and publications
The security specialist’s engagement in communication and public relations was particularly strong in 2025. Numerous publications and press articles were created to inform customers and prospects about the latest developments and security requirements. The Swiss press portal swissmadesoftware.org continues to serve as the central platform for the company’s publications, featuring selected expert contributions from ALPEIN Software. The positive response was reflected both in increasing product demand and in high customer satisfaction.
With confidence, the company looks ahead to the coming year and will continue to work with full commitment to deliver innovative solutions and first-class services, enabling shared success with customers and product users.
ALPEIN Software SWISS AG would like to thank all business partners and customers for their trust in 2025 and wishes everyone restful holidays and a successful start to the new year.
