PassSecurium™ product roadmap for 2026

2026 is a year of consolidation, expansion, and innovation for PassSecurium™.
Our focus is on strengthening core performance and security, introducing modern authentication standards, and expanding enterprise-grade capabilities, while continuing to improve usability for everyday users.
Below is an overview of our planned roadmap, structured by quarter.
Q1 2026 – Core platform upgrade & foundations
Master upgrade (Version 3.0) – January-February 2026
The release of PassSecurium™ 3.0 marks a major technical milestone. This upgrade lays the foundation for upcoming features, improves system security and stability, and prepares the platform for further scalability and enterprise integrations.
Enhanced search functionality
Search will be expanded to cover all fields across entries, not just titles or selected attributes. Combined with backend performance optimizations, this ensures faster results and improved usability, even in large vaults with thousands of items.
Extended import and export capabilities
New and improved import and export options will simplify migrations from additional password managers and browsers. They also enable structured data exchange for enterprise use cases such as audits, compliance requirements, and secure backups.
Support for additional authentication systems
PassSecurium™ will expand support for modern and enterprise authentication mechanisms, including:
- Additional LDAP variants
- SASL-based authentication
- OpenID-compatible systems
This enables smoother integration into diverse IT environments.
Passkey storage support
Introduction of native support for storing and managing passkeys within PassSecurium™. This allows organizations to securely store passkey credentials alongside other secrets, supporting modern, phishing-resistant authentication methods used by external services and platforms.
Q2 2026 – Security, Mobility & Passwordless Access
Carrier VPN (private connectivity)
Introduction of a Carrier VPN that provides a private, isolated connection layer, independent of the public internet. This significantly enhances security for sensitive environments and regulated industries.
Unlike traditional VPN solutions, the Carrier VPN is integrated into the platform, requires no complex client setup, and reduces operational overhead while maintaining a high security level.
External password sharing
Secure, controlled sharing of credentials with external users (e.g., partners, contractors, auditors) without requiring full platform access.
Passwordless login & YubiKey launch
Support for passwordless authentication, including hardware security keys such as YubiKey. This strengthens protection against phishing and credential theft while improving the login experience.
New Android app launch
Release of a fully reengineered Android application built on a modern architecture and rewritten from the ground up. While the core functionality remains unchanged, the new app replaces legacy components and technical workarounds, resulting in significantly improved stability, performance, and predictability. The redesigned foundation ensures better long-term maintainability and alignment with current Android security standards.
UI/UX improvements
Ongoing refinements to the user interface and workflows to improve clarity, speed, and ease of use across desktop, browser, and mobile clients.
Browser extension enhancements
The PassSecurium™ browser extension will be expanded with:
- Intelligent form detection
Improved autofill accuracy
Q3 2026 – Flexibility & resilience
Custom key templates
Support for customizable credential templates with user-defined fields. This allows organizations to securely manage credentials beyond traditional username/password combinations, such as API tokens, access keys, database credentials, service accounts, license keys, or application-specific secrets.
Secure backup box & enterprise in-house backup expansion
Further development of the PassSecurium™ Backup Box, including enhanced options for enterprise-grade, on-premises backups. This supports organizations with strict data residency, compliance, or internal disaster recovery requirements.
Q4 2026 – Visibility, monitoring & security analytics
Health check & security dashboards
Introduction of centralized dashboards that provide insights into:
- Password hygiene
- Usage patterns
- Security posture
These dashboards help administrators identify risks early and improve governance.
Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) readiness
With the EU Cyber Resilience Act now in force, PassSecurium™ is preparing for upcoming regulatory milestones, including mandatory vulnerability and incident reporting obligations starting in September 2026. This involves strengthening internal detection, tracking, and reporting workflows to ensure timely, structured communication with authorities, while maintaining secure-by-design principles and strict data minimization.
SIEM integration
Introduction of native integrations with common Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. This enables centralized log collection, real-time monitoring, correlation with other security events, and seamless integration into existing security operations and SOC workflows.
Conclusion
The PassSecurium™ roadmap for 2026 reflects our commitment to building a password management platform that evolves alongside our customers’ needs. By strengthening core performance, embracing modern authentication standards, and expanding enterprise-grade security and monitoring capabilities, we are laying the groundwork for long-term scalability and resilience.
Throughout the year, our focus remains clear: delivering meaningful improvements that enhance security, usability, and control without adding unnecessary complexity. From passkeys and passwordless authentication to private connectivity, flexible credential models, and advanced security insights, each step of the roadmap is designed to support organizations of all sizes in managing access securely and efficiently.
We look forward to continuing this journey together with our customers and partners and will share updates as new milestones are reached. As always, feedback from real-world use cases plays a key role in shaping the future of PassSecurium™.
